Leo Souza, resident of Santa Rosa, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2010 at the age of 88. He was born on April 21, 1921 in Fresno, CA.
Leo accomplished many things during his lifetime including serving in the Navy in World War II, receiving a Business degree from Fresno State and a Master degree from Stanford University. He retired at age 70 as President of California Workers' Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau. He also received recognition from the California Assembly and Senate for his civic and professional service. He was active in his community and served as Past President of the Oakmont Village Association.
Leo is survived by his wife of 53 years, Maxine, and his two children, Kimberly and Eric. He will be cremated and his ashes will be scattered at sea off the coast of Marin.
